Hennessey’s H1000 Upgrade – A Spicier Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing

The Hennessey H1000 Transforms Cadillac's CT5-V Blackwing into a Supercar Slayer

  • Hennessey introduces ‘H1000’ upgrade, boosting Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing to an unprecedented 1,000 horsepower.

  • The revamped model outperforms competitors, making it the fastest combustion-only luxury sedan.

With a noteworthy history of making fast cars faster, Hennessey, the Texas-based hypercar manufacturer, has launched its latest creation – the ‘H1000’ Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. This upgraded model boasts a mind-boggling 1,000 horsepower, proving its mettle as a Herculean muscle car wrapped in an elegant package, thereby leaving its competitors like Audi, Bentley, BMW, and Porsche in the dust.

The stock Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is already Cadillac’s most powerful production car ever, featuring a supercharged 6.2-litre small-block LT4 V8 engine delivering 668 horsepower and 659 lb-ft of torque. However, Hennessey’s ‘H1000’ upgrade takes it a notch higher. The engine is meticulously revamped with enhanced components and a high-flow supercharger replacing the factory unit, followed by a Hennessey Engine Management Calibration (HEMC) upload for increased performance.

After the upgrade, the Cadillac’s power output significantly rises to a dyno-proven 1,000 bhp and 966 lb-ft torque, thereby reducing the 0-60 mph sprint by a full second, and pushing the top speed well beyond 200 mph. Furthermore, the Hennessey Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing comes with a 2-year or 24,000-mile warranty, ensuring a worry-free ownership experience.

The founder and CEO of Hennessey, John Hennessey, regards the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing as an ideal candidate for their EXORCIST upgrade. He claims that the power improvement is substantial without hampering drivability. With the introduction of the ‘H1000’ upgrade, the four-door Cadillac now stands as the fastest combustion-only luxury sedan on the planet, marking a unique achievement in a segment expected to fade away by the end of this decade.
