Here is Volkswagen’s New Logo Sound

Last week, at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Volkswagen revealed their new logo. Today they unveiled the new sound that goes with it.

Volkswagen is having a pretty big month that started at the Frankfurt Motor Show with the launch of the Volkswagen ID.3.

Along the ID.3, Volkswagen rolled-out a brand-new design and logo that began at the German car show. Both the new logo, which is flat and two-dimensional, compared to the old one, and the design aim “for high flexibility and are intended for digital applications”.

The new brand design marks the start of the new era for Volkswagen,” says Jürgen Stackmann, Member of the Brand Board of Management responsible for Sales, Marketing and After-Sales.

With that said, Stackmann tweeted earlier today the sound of the new Volkswagen logo. You can hear it below.

The tweet also mentions that the sound will be heard every time you will be exiting the all-electric Volkswagen ID.3.

The new logo sound goes along what Volkswagen’s Chief Designer Klaus Bischoff said during the launch of VW’s new identity last week: “In the new brand design, we have created an authentic communications platform for the emotional presentation of e-mobility. We are showing the Volkswagen of the future under the motto of “digital first” and “no filter”.
