TrailSport models will be offered with all-terrain tires, more ground clearance, and more.
It will be available on models with Honda’s i-VTM4 AWD system.
We’ve said many times and here’s more proof that “safari-ing” all things is a strong trend. As far as we’re concerned, more automakers should join in on it. And Honda has decided to join in by introducing their new TrailSport trim.
TrailSport will bring with it unique exterior front and rear styling, durable cladding, and extra underbody protection. Vehicles with the TrailSport package will include high-contrast orange stitching and available signature all-weather mats.
Mechanically, TrailSport models will get all-terrain tires, more ground clearance thanks to off-road-tuned suspensions, a full-size spare, and increased i-VTM4 capabilities.
“TrailSport will be the embodiment of Honda’s next chapter, to bring more tough and rugged capabilities to our light trucks,” said Steve Hui, Assistant Vice President Honda Canada. “TrailSport has the ruggedness and exclusive styling that will be popular with consumers seeking adventure, on-road or off, and for those looking for increased toughness in their vehicles.”
The TrailSport logo is inspired by outdoor adventures, nature’s beauty, and the spirit of exploration.
