A Gymkhana is a gift that keeps on giving. Over the years, Hoonigan has filled our mobile screens and monitors with some of the greatest automotive action ever, and it just got better. Gymkhana 2022 is 10:26 of pure mental driving and stunts.
We feel compelled to say that though we enjoyed watching Ken Block tear up the Las Vegas strip in his all-electric Hoonitron, we have to hand it to Pastrana’s as he kills it in his latest driving super-spectacular Gymkhana. Set in Florida, and in his magnificent 80s Subaru GL wagon, he lays patches of rubber in the sand, city, in parking lots, on bridges, launches over train tracks, and hits a staggering 165 mph before taking a massive jump.
Also, he jumps over a helicopter, skips through a pond, and races a jet fighter, and that’s all in the first six and half minutes of the video. And, near the end, you’ll discover that Travis isn’t only an accomplished driver but a fabulous salesman – we enquired about the turn-key home on wheels with a built-in mechanic.
