Hyundai Express Shopping

The way we buy new cars is evolving. Many of us are not entirely aware of this evolution as we only purchase a vehicle every five to seven years. The vast majority of us have however shopped online and if you think about it, buying a car is only slightly different than purchasing a pair of shoes on Amazon.

Hyundai, along with other OEMs, are working hard to narrow the gap between what we now know as shopping and what we used to think was car shopping. Through Hyundai Express Shopping, you can not only build and price your vehicle of choice but begin the process of your trade-in appraisal as well as apply for credit. Lastly, you’ll also be able to book a test-drive.

This entire process is deceptively simple and is part of new Hyundai BuyRight program. The most interesting aspect of this program is the Five Day Car Exchange Commitment. If you change your mind after taking delivery of the car, or decide you want a different vehicle, you have up to five days whereby you’ll be able to easily switch to another Hyundai vehicle.

We’re willing to bet this will be a popular program and that many other carmakers will follow suit in the near future. It seems as though negotiating with a sales-rep is just about a thing of the past…
