Hyundai released a picture of an upcoming all-electric concept car to be unveiled at Frankfurt Motor Show dubbed ’45’.
The Frankfurt Motor Show arriving quick and more and more manufacturers are announcing their colours. This time around it’s Hyundai, again. At the beginning of the month, the Korean manufacturer announced that their first-ever electric vehicle to be created by Hyundai Motorsport will make an appearance in Frankfurt.
Now, Hyundai has yet another announcement for the German auto show, the ‘45’ concept (or 『45』as it’s written in the press release). This concept will showcase the future direction of the brand’s EV design.
The Hyundai ‘45’ be an evolution of their ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design language. According to the carmaker here’s what the design language means: “‘Sensuous’ stands for enhanced emotional values that customers can experience through design, and ‘Sportiness’ is determined to implement those values through innovative mobility solutions.”
The ‘45’ concept design was inspired by Hyundai’s first mass-produced car back in the mid-1970s, the Pony.
The world debut of the Hyundai ‘45’ will take place at the 2019 IAA Frankfurt Motor Show on September 10 alongside the brand’s first electric race car, among others.
