Leaked images show a beefier more attractive Rogue.
Production of the new Rogue was set to begin in May.
Cabin looks modern and airy.
Only a few weeks ago we reported that a new Nissan Rogue (aka Nissan X-Trail) was expected before long. At the time, Nissan had said that production was slated to begin in May however they’ve just announced that it will further extend production downtime at all of its U.S. manufacturing facilities until mid-May. What this means for the Rogue’s fall commercialization is unknown but, at least now, we know what it looks like thank to Instagram.
The less-than-crisp pictures were shared on Instagram by @Kurdistan_Automotive_Blog and as you might expect, there are no details on the vehicle. What we can see is the latest iteration of Nissan V-Motion grille flanked by an interpretation of the new not-for-North-America Nissan Juke’s headlight and marker -light setup. The shoulders and haunches are for more square and muscular.
The cabin, which we assume is that of the top-line Platinum trim, sports quilted leather seats, a smoother dash design with an integrated tablet-like screen and brown accents. We can see a smartphone wirelessly charging and a drive-mode selector wheel as well.
As we’ve said, as the best-selling Nissan vehicle, the new Rogue needs to be good. From these four images, we must say the 2021 Nissan Rogue looks promising.
