Jeep Celebrates 80 Years with Special-Edition Models

The Legendary Jeep brand was born in 1941 and will mark their 88th birthday with commemorative editions


  • Every Jeep product will get an 80th Anniversary edition.

  • They will get unique wheels, specific exterior and interior accents, and more.

  • 80th Anniversary models arrive in the fourth quarter of 2020.


The Jeep brand is one of the best recognized in the world for good reason. 80 years ago, the Jeep began a legacy as one of the most capable off-road vehicles and brands and the time is right to celebrate all of its accomplishments.

Each Jeep product, from the Renegade to the Grand Cherokee, including the Wrangler, will earn an 80th Anniversary edition package. Jim Morrison, Head of Jeep Brand – FCA North America, said: “After nearly 80 years, the Jeep brand remains true to the original SUV by continuing to deliver legendary 4×4 capability that has enabled countless adventures and open-air freedom. As we celebrate our 80th anniversary, we’re pleased to provide our customers with 80th Anniversary models that offer a unique appearance, great value and loads of safety and technology features.”

Jeep Wrangler Sport S 80th Anniversary edition is $44,835 ($48,685 for four-door models), and the Jeep Wrangler Sahara 80th Anniversary edition is $52,685. They are available in Granite Crystal, Bright White, Hella Yella, Black, Firecracker Red, Sarge, and Snazzberry. Features include:

  • 18-inch wheels in Granite Crystal and Bridgestone Dueler 255/70R18 all-terrain tires
  • Neutral Grey Metallic grille bezels, headlamp rings, and fog lamp bezels
  • Body-colour fender flares
  • 80th Anniversary commemorative badging
  • Black diamond embossed cloth seats with 80th Anniversary tag
