The Willys trim has now graduated to Jeep’s arguably coolest model, the Gladiator. The Willys name, as we all know, harks back to the legendary off-road brand’s roots. The package has found its way onto the Wrangler and will now be offered with the Gladiator Sport S.
This package isn’t about looks although the Willys’ unique rugged appearance certainly is attractive. It features a Willys hood decal, heritage 4WD tailgate decal, unique black 17-inch aluminum wheels, and a gloss black sport grille. Onboard, the Gladiator Willys also includes the technology group with 7-inch radio along with connective services and convenience group as standard.
To get the job done, the 2021 Jeep Gladiator Willys is equipped with a limited-slip rear differential, Rubicon cab rock rails and shocks, and 32-inch BFGoodrich KM2 mud-terrain tires. The 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 engine is mated to Jeep’s Command-Trac 4×4 part-time, two-speed transfer case with a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio.
Available now from $50,745, the 2021 Jeep Gladiator Willys will be offered in eight colours: Black, Granite Crystal, Sting Grey, Billet, Firecracker Red, White, Hydro Blue, and Snazzberry.
