Jeep is a brand that enjoys one of the biggest and most dedicated fan bases in the North American car market.
Many Jeep owners, especially the ones that drive the Wrangler or the Gladiator models are also known to be very keen on modifying their vehicle to fit their tastes and use cases.
In order to tap into the customisation market, the brand is launching the Jeep Graphic Studio, a website that will allow owners of the Wrangler and Gladiator models to have personalised decals, emblems and shifter knob inserts made for them.
The process will make it possible to have the numerous decals that spell out the model name on the hood and fenders to be any color desired. Alternatively, a pattern can fill the letters, such as an American flag or topographic maps, the latter of which will feature a 3D effect due to a new printing process.
Other customisable elements include the fender insert decals and the shifter inserts which will be 3D printed in stainless steel.
The price for these accessories will range from $40 to $165 in the United States. Prices for Canada have not been announced.
For this sum, owners will receive their personalised items and the tools and instructions necessary for their installation.
Benefits over after market elements include a precise fit on every vehicle and a 5- or 7-year warranty against UV damage and decal peel.
