Dodge will offer a PHEV model next year.
Jeep is one of the most recognized auto brands in the world. It’s also extremely profitable for Stellantis. Ensuring that it continues to do well in the future is critical which is why it will get its first full-EV as early as in the first half of 2023.

If the Jeep Wrangler Magneto concept is anything to go on, the Wrangler would certainly be the ideal candidate. At the moment, the Wrangler can be fitted with a 4-cylinder, V6, plug-in hybrid, or V8 powertrain – all that’s missing is a BEV version. As well, short of a Grand Cherokee or a Wagoneer, a near-$50k price tag on a Cherokee or Renegade won’t go over well.
Even so, Jeep means to offer an electric version of each of its models by 2025, as noted by the Detroit News. This is all part of Stellantis’ plans to invest $35.5 billion in electrification by 2025. Among other moves from the recently-formed company, Alfa Romeo will go full-EV in North America by 2027, a fully electric Ram 1500 pickup should come in 2024, and Dodge will get an electric muscle car before long as well.
