Keeping Your Cars Ready For The Road: Nokian Tyres Has a Few Tips For Us All

Nokian Tyres has assembled a few tips about keeping our vehicles ready for the open road

  • After weeks of being idle, we should not assume our cars are 100% fit to get back on the road.

  • Tires remain one of the most important safety features on all vehicles.

  • While you’re at it, you can shop for some new rubber.

This pandemic won’t last forever, even if it seems like it’s already been a lifetime since we last went on a road trip to see family and friends. It’s quite likely that your vehicle has moved very little, if at all, in the last four, perhaps even six weeks. Before you get back out into the world, there are a few simple things you should do and Nokian Tyres has prepared a quick guide for us all.

In their Fresh Start campaign, the premium tire manufacturer has combined its knowledge with that of a few experts and created a quick compilation of things to do while in confinement and a few more points to consider once we’re “free” again.

“Cars are meant to be driven regularly, and any significant drop in usage carries risk,” said Nokian Tyres Director of Products Steve Bourassa. “As a tire manufacturer committed to safety, we feel it’s important to help drivers keep their cars and tires healthy during this period of reduced activity.”

Tires, being Nokian’s specialty, feature prominently in this guide. Things such as visual inspections and verifying tire pressure are steps we should take on a regular basis but it’s always good to be reminded.

Should You Buy Nokian Summer Tires?

Finally, if your tires are in need of being replaced, Nokian Tyres does offer an excellent selection for all applications, from sports cars, family sedans, to SUVs. We highly recommend their product.
