Kia wants everyone to know about the new K5 sedan.
The most-powerful midsize sedan ever in question is the Kia K5 GT.
This showcase is billed “Triple Threat”, will be directed by Darrin Scott and launches July 28th.
The all-new Kia K5 sedan will be on the receiving end of plenty of attention following the launch in what sounds like will be an action-packed “Triple Threat” showcase.
Only a week ago, Kia introduced their aptly named “Features Film” in which a number of products are showcased along with certain of their features. This time, the focus will be on the all-new 2021 Kia K5 which will be officially be kicked off with this new multi-channel marketing campaign. It will run in print, digital, social (including Twitter) and broadcast (included when the nominations for the 72nd Emmy Awards are announced) components that start on July 28.
From what we gather, this real-time “K5 Live” stunt will place Kia’s most powerful midsize sedan, the K5 GT, in situations where typical sedans are not usually found. The “event” will be directed by Darrin Prescott (Baby Driver, Ford Vs. Ferrari, Drive, John Wick, Black Panther, and The Bourne Ultimatum), and feature three stunt drivers putting the K5 through its paces – apparently, there are two ramps involved as well. The hosts will be professional driver Collete Davis and actor Jeremy Ray Valdez.
“The all-new K5 is a completely new direction for Kia and the midsize sedan category overall, so we needed a marketing campaign that was as dynamic and action-packed as the vehicle itself,” said Russell Wager, director, marketing operations, Kia Motors America. “By combining live events with more traditional elements, the K5 and Kia will be presented in ways never seen before and sure to change perceptions of the midsize sedan category.”
