Control even the heated seats in 2021 Huracan
Feature will be a retrofit for 2020 models as well
We expect Lamborghini to push the envelope of performance a little bit further each time the automaker makes an announcement, but this one is a little different. The Huracan Evo is getting enhanced connected services including in-car Amazon Alexa control and more added to the 2021 version of the car allowing for a host of new features.
The 2020 Lamborghini Huracan Evo came with Web radio and Apple CarPlay, but the 2021 cars will see the addition of Android Auto software integration as well as Amazon Alexa, assuming you tick the Smartphone Interface and Connected Services options box.
This goes far beyond simple phone controls and voice assistant questions. The Alexa system is integrated into the Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata system as well as most of the major vehicle components. That lets you adjust in-car functions like climate control, lighting, and even seat heating, in addition to the typical navigation and infotainment functions.
Voice commands will also allow drivers to get real-time feedback on the car’s driving dynamics, including torque vectoring and active steering, which will then show up on the LIS screen.
The usual other Alexa functionality will apply, so you can connect to home entry gate and garage door controls, home thermostats, and other smart home functions. The system can be updated over the air to help keep it up to date.
If you already have an Evo, the features will be offered as a retrofit for no cost from your dealer, along with optional upgrades.
