Production began in 2018.
The 20,000th Urus is Viola Mithras with black calipers and a panoramic roof and is headed to Azerbaijan.
Lambo also recently celebrated the production of the 20,000th Huracán.
There was never any doubt that the Urus was going to be a smash hit for Lamborghini. It’s unknown if they would have guessed that the 20,000th example would have rolled off the assembly line in only four short years.
The plan was to double Lambo’s sales volume and they put nearly everything they had into designing the super-SUV, so it was a sure-bet-winner. The 20,000th Urus is painted a sublime Viola Mithras, one of the most popular exterior Ad Personam colors available for the Urus.
“From the first moment we presented the Urus concept at Beijing motor show in 2012, to its market debut in 2018 and each year since, the Urus has proved its instant and continued appeal as a true Lamborghini, born from our super sports heritage and the world’s first Super SUV, the LM 002,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and CEO. “The Urus is a perfect complement to our super sports model ranges, providing a luxurious and high-performance daily drive for those who identify with our authentic Italian brand.”
The Lamborghini Urus is a land rocket thanks to its 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 650 HP at 6,000 rpm and 850 Nm of torque from 2,250 rpm. It features four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering and launches to 100 km/h from not in 3.6 seconds.
