The Huracán STO is a street-legal racecar.
Its design is inspired by Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse heritage.
This latest soon-to-be-revealed Lamborghini Huracán is not just a gussied-up EVO streetcar, at least this much is clear from the image leaked on Instagram. STO, which stands for Super Trofeo Omologato, leads everyone to believe that this new supercar will be a road-going version of the current Super Trofeo EVO racecar.

A quick glance at the image, shared by well-known British Lamborghini dealer H.R. Owen on Instagram, reveals some serious aerodynamics never before seen on a typical production Huracán. The front splitter/spoiler combo is massive as are the side sills with intake at the very end. Speaking of intakes, there’s one mounted on the roof that feeds air to the rear mid-mounted naturally-aspirated V10 engine.
The Huracán STO is in fact a street-legal version of the Lamborghini’s Super Trofeo EVO racecar that competes in the one-make series. Other tell-tale signs that this is not a “regular” Huracán are the center-lock wheels and the rear-mounted spoiler are certainly a clue as to how serious this car is. In fact, the spoiler’s wings and mounting points look almost identical to the racecar’s.
We’ll know more tomorrow at 3 pm GMT for the car’s official unveiling.
