Lamborghini SCV12 Track Car Coming Soon

"New Model Launch, Stay Tuned" Lamborghini website says

  • Latest Squadra Corse race car has been teased since 2019

  • Debut apparently happening soon

  • V12 engine sends 830 horsepower to the rear wheels

The Lamborghini SCV12 is a hypercar designed exclusively for track use that we’ve been waiting on for over a year. The latest teaser shown on Lamborghini’s website hints that the wait is coming to and end. The image was accompanied by the message “New Model Launch Stay Tuned”.

The teaser shows a long, short, and very wide design that certainly screams hypercar. We can see bulging fenders, a ton of body parts designed to improve aerodynamics, wheels that fill every centimetre available, and unique fog lights that will shine a bright light on the road ahead.

Some details of the SCV12 have trickled down over the last few months. We know it will be powered by a 6.5-litre V12 that delivers 830 horsepower to the rear wheels.

The car is designed to produce massive amounts of downforce and to be light on its wheels. A full carbon fiber chassis helps as do magnesium wheels. The Lamborghini SVC12 is supposed to be lighter than the Aventador.

The car will likely cost a fortune and be available in very limited quantities to Lamborghini’s best customers. We certainly can’t wait to see it.
