The image’s caption is: “Attenzione macchina veloce aperta”.
This translates to: “Attention car fast open”.
Given this detail, this Lamborghini may not have a roof at all.
Lamborghini’s been in the news of late, mainly because of Volkswagen which might be thinking about unloading the Italian supercar company. The company has also just announced that they’ve just recorded their best September, in terms of sales, in its history.
“Attenzione macchina veloce aperta”

For most of us, “aperta” refers to a drop-top car, usually priced in the stratosphere. This leads us to believe that this open-top (topless?) Lamborghini might be going after the McLaren Elva and Ferrari Monza. For the moment, only the company’s racing division, Lamborghini Squadra Corsa, knows what’s really going on.
The car’s camouflage matches the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12’s but, as autocar.co.uk, the teased car’s rear end does not match the Essenza’s. It could be that this an aperta version of the Essenza with a twist. As a reminder, only 40 of the latter will be built. Perhaps this is a way to stretch the development money…
The triple-spot taillights very much look like those of the Sián however the hybrid hypercar was already offered as a Roadster. Whatever this “Fast Open Car” might be, it certainly has us all wondering what’s next for and from Lamborghini.
