Latest 2020 Chevy Corvette C8 Rendering Doesn’t Seem Unrealistic

The mid-engined Chevrolet Corvette is coming, but it won’t be before this summer.

As we stated back when Chevrolet confirmed the new Corvette was coming on July 18, there will be plenty of speculation in the next few months about what exactly we will see this summer when the wrap is pulled off the mid-engined 2020 Chevy Corvette C8.

That includes a ton of Chevy Corvette C8 renderings like this latest one published on MidEngineCorvetteForum. Based on the images of the camouflaged mid-engined Corvette seen driving around Manhattan last week, this rendering published by member FVS is one of the most realistic we’ve seen.

The front is especially well detailed and defined. Most renderings we’ve seen as well as a quick look at the covered prototypes of next mid-engined C8 Corvette point to a sharp, pointy nose with every line on the hood and the headlights pointing towards it.

The rear quarter panel shows a wide air intake opening and wide fenders, but this part is more difficult to imagine as prototypes were likely showing some fake bits to throw observers. The roof line in the rendering, on the other hand, is perfectly aligned with what we’ve seen so far of the 2020 Chevy Corvette C8.

There will be a ton of renderings as we move to the summer, and we’re pretty sure we will start seeing a few leaks here and there as well. Nobody seems to be safe from leaks, just ask the Toyota Supra. Then again, they are a great way to keep people talking…
