This is the first LEGO/Universal collaboration.
Because this is a Technic, the Charger’s got lots of moving parts.
Priced at $99,99 USD and $139,99 CDN.
We’ve been pouring over the images of LEGO’s latest Technic building set and we are absolutely loving it. Dominic Toretto’s 1970 Dodge Charger R/T from Fast & Furious is perfectly represented in all its glory, and details. If you want it, stop reading and go to LEGO’s website and order it now. If you do, you’ll get it before the end of April.
We can’t decide which detail on the Charger we like better… I think we’re leaning more towards the rear. The recessed taillights are perfectly menacing, the rear buttresses are superb, the tailpipes, and grooviest (did we just say grooviest?) of all is the presence of two nitrous bottles in the boot. The be fair, the front end is impressive too with its stacked blower, supercharger pulley, and belt and wonderfully arranged front grille.
The kit isn’t cheap, especially here in Canada, at a penny short of $140, for the 1,077-piece set. Despite that, we think this might be one of the coolest builds ever offered by LEGO’s Technic collection.
