LC Inspiration limited to just 10 for Canada
Lexus has just announced the latest Inspiration Series of its LC flagship, and it has us blue with envy. The LC 500 Inspiration returns for 2024 in Polar Surge with a Deep Blue interior that is 100 percent drool-worthy.
The Lexus LC is one of the most beautiful cars on the market, even if it has been for sale for a few years now. Lexus has been working to keep the car fresh with a run of Inspiration Series models that add race car looks with some extra special details.
On this year’s model, the changes start with that Polar Surge Satin white paint and a dark blue interior. Get a convertible LC and you get a blue roof in addition to the cabin. Both models get black finishes on the front grille surround, headlights, tails, rocker garnish, and mirrors. The forged 21-inch wheels wear matte black, but the front bumper canards are finished in body colour while the rear spoiler (coupe only) is carbon fibre.
Other mechanical highlights include a Torsen limited-slip rear and new rear dampers. Plus coupe models get the chassis braces normally limited to the convertible.
The deep blue cabin has Alcantara-trimmed seats and headliner in the coupe, and semi-aniline leather in the convertible. Both get grey contrast stitching for what Lexus calls a “meditative” experience. The Inspiration Series will also get special carbon door sill plates and there is a serialized badge on the center console.
Lexus is only going to build 125 2024 LC Inspiration Series models for North America, with just 10 bound for Canada. Pricing starts from $130,150 for the coupe or $135,550 for the convertible. If you can’t snag one, you can always settle for one of the nine standard exterior colours and three available interiors.
