The LF-Z Electrified Concept is built on a dedicated EV platform.
This will mark the world premiere of the latest Lexus ES midsize sedan.
It all happens on April 18th.
Auto Shanghai 2021, which opens its doors from April 21 to 28, 2021, will be the stage of many new global reveals. With strict hygiene and safety protocols, the auto show will host the debut of a future pivotal vehicle for Lexus, as well as introduce the latest iteration of the popular ES midsize luxury sedan.
The Lexus ES was introduced back in 1989 and has since enjoyed great popularity. As a no-non-sense premium car, the ES has shared many of its components with the Toyota Camry. As such, the ES has proven to be a reliable premium mode of transportation. The current 7th generation ES was launched in 2018.
The LF-Z Electrified Concept’s debut will introduce innovation with a capital “I” for Lexus. This concept will feature a new dedicated EV platform that will be fitted with Lexus’ new four-wheel driving force control technology known as “DIRECT4”, or in-wheel electric motors.
Lexus International President/Chief Branding Officer, Koji Sato, intends to virtually attend the press conference scheduled which will take place on April 18th.
