Founded back in 1930, Pininfarina will celebrate its 90th anniversary with a bang at next month’s Geneva Motor Show. For the occasion, the automaker and sister company Automobili Pininfarina will unveil, as a world debut, a new and very limited version of its pure-electric Battista hypercar.
Indeed, the team over at Automobili Pininfarina has created the Battista Anniversario, a run of “no more than five cars” will be hand-built by the Italian manufacturer.
The Pininfarina Battista Anniversario will feature enhanced dynamic abilities based on an aerodynamic package and unique heritage-inspired livery that blends signature Pininfarina styling cues with a new array of design elements crafted by Automobili Pininfarina’s design team, as per the company’s press release.
Based on the same platform as the Rimac C Two, the Battista develops 1,900 hp (1,400 kW) and is capable of reaching 100 km/h from standstill in less than 2 seconds.
The pure-electric hypercar was launched as a concept at last year’s Geneva Motor Show and the first production copies should it the market by the end of the year.
The all-new and ultra-limited Pininfarina Battista Anniversario will break cover during Automobili Pininfarina’s press conference at 11:30 CET on Tuesday 3rd March at the Geneva Motor Show.
