Lincoln Adds Monochromatic Pack to Top-Spec Navigator Black Label

Contrasting top bits for top-spec Lincoln

  • Black Label available with black trim for first time

  • Popular package on other Lincoln models

Monochromatic is the new chrome, and Lincoln is expanding that by putting those one-colour touches on the first Special Edition package applied to a Black Label version of the 2021 Lincoln Navigator. With a black roof and other black accents, this gives the flagship the treatment that has proven popular on the rest of the Lincoln line.

The Monochromatic package has been available on Reserve trims of the Navigator, as well as on many of Lincoln’s other models, but this is the first time that the package has been applied to the Black Label top of the range version. It gives the vehicles a more sinister, less shiny look thanks to the black-painted roof and pillars as well as black side mirror covers, a black rear spoiler, and black Lincoln grille in the nose. Of course, the wheels are black too, in this case 22-inch 12-spoke affairs.

It will be available on six colours for the 2021 Navigator, including pristine white, chroma crystal blue, silver radiance, chroma molten gold, burgundy velvet, and a colour joining the ’21 Navigator for the first time: Flight Blue.

“The unique black roof coupled with additional monochromatic elements emphasize the strong lines of the Navigator, giving it an even more dramatic look and greater presence on the road,” said Earl Lucas, Lincoln exterior chief designer. “Black is a great partner to almost any colour, providing a brighter appearance and more contrast – this makes Navigator really stand out.”

The 2021 Black Label Special Edition Package Lincoln Navigator will be available in the spring, though only in the US, as Black Label isn’t offered in other markets.
