Lotus Reveals Emira V6 First Edition Spec and Price

Lotus Emira Production Starts Soon

  • V6 Emira starts from a ton of British Pounds

  • The 400 hp arrives first, four-pot models come later next year

Lotus has confirmed the full spec for the First Edition of its all-new Emira sports car. The Lightweight that will be the last gas model from Lotus will arrive with 400 hp and start from £75,995 in the UK with orders open now.

The First Edition Lotus Emira V6 cars get the Lotus 3.5L V6 fitted with a supercharger to make 400 hp. The Toyota V6 with an Edelbrock supercharger will also make 310 lb-ft if you pick the manual gearbox or 317 with the six-speed automatic. A four-cylinder model will arrive late next year, with pricing and specs for that one to follow.

Lotus has set the Emira configurator to live on the brand’s website, showing off the First Edition’s six paint colours. That’s blue, red, yellow, green, and two kinds of grey. More colours will follow next year.

20-inch wheels are standard, with the First Edition getting tire pressure monitoring and two-piece brake discs with branded calipers. LED lights are fitted all around, and there are even luxury features like power heated and folding side mirrors. This Lotus has rear parking sensors, a major departure for the brand from the days of old.

Seven interior colour packs are offered, and the car will have 12-way power-adjustable heated seats. Cruise control and keyless go are standard, as is climate control. Satnav, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto are all provided through a KEF infotainment system that uses a 12.25-inch center touchscreen.

Option packs will include a Drivers Pack with new suspension and two choices of stickier rubber, a Design Pack adds tinted glass, Alcantara headliner, and floor mats, and a Convenience Pack gives buyers front parking sensors, reversing camera, and a luggage net for the boot.
