More power, more carbon, more FXX-K
New wheels, and extensive upgrades from Mansory
The over the top automotive customisers at Mansory have turned their attentions to the Ferrari F8 Tributo. And what they’ve come up with is, well, actually a bit subdued compared with what we normally expect from the brand. Still, this Mansory F8XX will get all the attention that its owners so desperately crave, especially in the special Catania Green paint with gold accents.
Mansory loads up the standard F8 with even more carbon fibre parts including a new front splitter and apron as well as side skirts and canards all finished in what the company calls forged carbon (as opposed to the more conventional exposed weave carbon). New bits and bobs are attached to almost every panel of the car, but the most attention-grabbing are the ones that inspire its name. Those are the L-shaped rear wings that are inspired by Ferrari’s only FXX-K track car and that don’t cross the entirety of the rear.
New wheels are also fitted along with revised suspension components. The YT.5 wheels are new for the F8XX and come in 21-inch front and 22-inch rear diameters with the backs 12-inches wide sporting 335-wide tires.
Underhood modes including a new exhaust and engine management software changes boost the 3.9L twin-turbo V8 from 710 hp and 568 lb-ft to 880 and 708, letting it hit 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds and 356 km/h flat-out.
Inside, Mansory has loaded up beige leather with white accents. Diamond quilting and other fancy stitching are on just about every surface, and the car is equipped with loads of Mansory logos and floor mats. Everything that’s not leather is probably carbon fibre, completing the transformation.
