Marsien GT Debuts with More Than 830 HP; Limited to a 30-Car Production Run

The Porsche 992 Turbo S-based Marsien GT combines RUF-developed power with bespoke suspension, active aerodynamics and carbon-fibre construction.

  • Marsien GT production is limited to 30 examples, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2027.

  • RUF engine upgrades raise output beyond 830 hp and deliver 686 lb-ft of torque.

  • Carbon-fibre bodywork and extensive engineering reduce weight by 75 kg versus the donor Porsche.

Marc Philipp Gemballa GmbH has unveiled the Marsien GT, a serious road-focused limited-production model that grows its Marsien program beyond the all-terrain concept introduced in 2021.

Only 30 Marsien GTs are planned. Combined with the original Marsien production run, the program will total 70 vehicles, marking the 70th anniversary of Uwe Gemballa.

The new model starts with a Porsche 992 Turbo S but receives extensive engineering overhauls. According to Gemballa, approximately 1,500 newly engineered and manufactured components are incorporated into the finished vehicle.

A full carbon-fibre exterior accounts for more than 100 individual components. Every exterior panel has been redesigned, while the aerodynamic package incorporates active front-fender louvres, an adjustable rear wing, larger front air intakes, a roof scoop, side-skirt intakes and a carbon-fibre underbody. The changes reduce weight by 75 kg compared with a standard 992 Turbo S.

Designer Alan Derosier, who developed the original Marsien’s styling concept, also led the design work for the GT. The launch vehicle uses a four-layer Anniversary Liquid Champagne Gold finish created to commemorate Uwe Gemballa’s 70th anniversary.

Powertrain development continues the tuner’s partnership with well-known RUF Automobile. Modifications to the six-cylinder boxer engine include upgraded variable-turbine-geometry turbochargers, revised ECU calibration and transmission settings. Output exceeds 830 hp and reaches 686 lb-ft of torque, from 701 and 590 respectively. A second package producing more than 900 hp remains under development.

The chassis receives equally substantial changes. Another well-established brand, KW Automotive, has developed a road-oriented double-wishbone suspension specifically for the Marsien GT, using electronically controlled dampers based on its DDC V5 technology. Compression and rebound are independently regulated, with the system capable of responding within 20 milliseconds.

Standard ground clearance is 100 mm; however, a likely Porsche-supplied front-axle lift can raise the nose by 60 mm for ramps, driveways and speed bumps. Driver-selectable modes coordinate changes to the dampers, transmission and engine mapping.

Other hardware includes a bespoke Akrapovič titanium quad-exhaust system, six-spoke forged aluminum centre-lock wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Inside, a raised centre console incorporates an aluminum gear selector, with exposed-carbon and mahogany gear-knob options available.

First customer deliveries are scheduled for the end of 2027.
