Mazda Canada unveils Suna Edition for 2024 Mazda3 Sport, MX-30 EV, CX-30, and CX-5.
Suna Edition features unique aesthetics, including a Zircon Sand Metallic exterior and terracotta interior.
Except for MX-30 EV, Suna models utilize the Skyactiv-G 2.5 Turbo engine.
Mazda Canada recently unveiled its Suna Edition for four of its 2024 models: Mazda3 Sport, MX-30 EV, CX-30, and CX-5. In keeping with Mazda‘s dedication to an evolving lineup characterized by robust powertrains, dynamic handling, and personalized styling, the Suna Edition models aim to enhance the driving experience, striking a balance between engaging performance and unique aesthetics.
Drawing inspiration from the sporty, upscale styling of the previously released Kuro Edition, the Suna Edition models maintain a sense of continuity, while still distinguishing themselves with their own distinctive flair. Gloss black exterior accents – a characteristic shared with the Kuro models – including black metallic aluminum alloy wheels, side mirrors, and front grille, give the Suna Edition a sporty and assertive look.
However, the Suna Edition differs from its predecessor in its captivating colour scheme, stepping away from the crowd with an exclusive Zircon Sand Metallic exterior paint colour. The interior follows suit with a remarkable fusion of terracotta upholstery with black suede inserts, perfectly complemented by terracotta stitching and gunmetal accents. This tasteful blend of materials and colours presents a timeless feel with a distinctly contemporary appeal.
While design is a core aspect of the Suna Edition, performance is not left behind. Except for the MX-30 EV, the Suna Edition Mazda3 Sport, CX-30, and CX-5 all feature the mighty Skyactiv-G 2.5 Turbo engine. Mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and featuring standard i-Activ all-wheel drive, the powertrain delivers an engaging performance, generating up to 256 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque.
