McLaren Automotive will produce just 18 ultra-exclusive supercars to commemorate its 2024 Formula 1 Constructors’ Championship victory, marking the brand’s ninth title with a limited run of modified Artura and 750S models that incorporate actual components from the championship-winning MCL38 race car.
Nine Championships, Eighteen Collectors: Each Car Features MCL38 F1 Bodywork
The celebration series comprises nine Artura and nine 750S vehicles, each carrying a dedication plaque containing genuine carbon fibre bodywork from the McLaren MCL38 Formula 1 car that secured eight pole positions and six Grand Prix victories during the 2024 season. The championship was clinched at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after the team led the standings since September’s race in Azerbaijan.
McLaren Special Operations developed a bespoke livery for both models, featuring the company’s signature Papaya Orange and Anthracite colours with a distinctive chevron transition. Each vehicle displays a Champions’ Laurel and ‘Nine-Star’ logo, commemorating McLaren’s complete championship history. Additional features include orange-accented bonnet stripes and brake calipers.

The interior modifications showcase the F1 connection through Visual Carbon Fibre Extended Sill Covers personally signed by drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. A track record plaque in the bonnet storage area details the MCL38’s pole positions, race wins, and fastest laps from the championship season.
Michael Leiters, McLaren Automotive CEO, emphasized the significance of the release: “The achievements of Zak Brown, Andrea Stella, Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri and the entire McLaren Racing team in winning the Formula 1 Constructors’ Championship are beyond inspirational.”
The Artura MCL38 Celebration Edition features the company’s 3-litre V6 hybrid powertrain, while the 750S MCL38 variant employs a 4-litre twin-turbocharged V8. Both models utilize McLaren’s carbon fibre monocoque chassis, with the 750S adding an active rear wing and Proactive Chassis Control III suspension system.
Each model includes unique elements such as papaya 12 o’clock steering wheel markers, while the 750S receives additional visual carbon fibre components and papaya accents on the mirror stripe and front splitter’s leading edge.
