As the automotive industry embraces electrification, Lotus takes a bold leap forward with the introduction of Eletre, their first pure electric hyper-SUV. Notably, Eletre caters to the growing market of Lotus consumers seeking a practical, family-oriented vehicle without compromising on Lotus’ signature performance.

Akin to its illustrious siblings, the Emira and Evija, the Eletre is infused with the authentic Lotus DNA. This latest iteration exhibits advanced suspension and chassis technology, transforming the sports car pedigree into a more versatile SUV framework. Engineered for efficient performance, Eletre’s all-electric powertrain promises an impressive balance between responsiveness and range, boasting up to 600km (373 miles) WLTP Combined. The vehicle also holds the distinction of being the world’s fastest dual-motor electric SUV, clocking 0-100 km/h (0-62mph) in under three seconds.

Eletre’s exterior is equipped with active aerodynamics, including a distinct front grille that ensures optimized range and efficiency. The unique design further aids in delivering a superior driving experience and high-speed stability. However, the focus on performance doesn’t deter the commitment to interior luxury. Eletre exhibits high standards in fit, finish, and materials, leveraging sustainable materials to fuse comfort with cutting-edge design.

Technology-wise, Eletre doesn’t disappoint. The state-of-the-art infotainment system runs on Lotus Hyper OS, providing an immersive experience for all occupants. It comes equipped with an innovative deployable LIDAR system and a suite of advanced driver assistance systems. In a bid to keep the SUV relevant, Lotus ensures the Eletre is future-proofed for Level 4 autonomous driving capability, and will receive regular over-the-air updates to deliver the latest software and functionalities to its customers.

Practicality extends to the charging capabilities of the Eletre. With rapid charging, it takes a mere 20 minutes to charge from 10-80% and provides up to 120 km (74 miles) of range in just five minutes.

Emerging as the most advanced Lotus to date, Eletre combines performance, luxury, and sustainability in a versatile package. As a testament to Lotus’ ongoing transformation into a global performance business, the Eletre hyper-SUV indeed brings the brand’s hallmark driving experience to an all-new consumer demographic. As the first accessible EV and SUV from Lotus, Eletre is poised to mark a significant milestone in the automaker’s storied history.
