The original Mercedes-AMG C63 Black Series came out in 2011
It featured a 517-horsepower, 6.3-litre V8
New AMG C63 Black Series rendering shows the potential of a new generation
The Mercedes-AMG Black Series lineup is a very small family of exclusive models packing a ton of power and the most aggressive designs to come out of Affalterbach.
The most recent model in the lineup, the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series, packs 720 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque sent to the rear wheels. It also features a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph) and reaching 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds.
This stunning rendering from Carlifestyle (via Motor1) shows what the seventh model in the Mercedes-AMG Black Series lineup could look like. It starts with a current Mercedes-AMG C63 Black Series and adds the traditional Black Series design elements.
There’s a huge wing, large air intakes on the hood, a wider front end, aggressive aero kit and fender vents to relieve built-up air pressure inside the wheel arches.
The original Mercedes-AMG C63 Black Series was unveiled in 2011. It used a 6.3-litre V8 sending 517 horsepower to the rear wheels which got it to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.2 seconds. Still to this day the C63 Black Series remains the most powerful C-Class ever built.
The current C63 delivers 503 horsepower from a twin-turbo V8. If AMG was to redesign the C63 into a Black Series model, you can safely bet the power output would cross 600 horsepower.
