New 2022 Nissan Z Fans Might Get To Place An Order On November 15th

This might mean that fans will need to wait until then to see the final production version of the Nissan Z car

  • The Z Proto debuted last September.

  • The new Z is slated for a late 2021 debut.

There’s little more to say about this presumptive date. Of late, there’s been little seen or heard in relation to the all-new Nissan Z car but for all intents and purposes, all that remains is seeing the final production car.

As reported all over the interwebs, last fall’s Z Proto was more than a simple design exercise. Every sighting of the supposedly named 400Z has shown a car that is identical to that of the Z Proto. The most revealing images were those with the hood opened where the Infiniti-sourced twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 was clearly visible.

At the moment, as reported by Motor1, there’s been very little new material to share. Heck, we don’t even know what the car’s actual name will be. Most agreed on 400Z while Japan will see “Fairlady Z” affixed to the sports car.

If order books are to open on November 15th, we can assume that this will coincide with the official reveal. It seems like a long way off but let’s not forget that Nissan all but completely surprised the world when they introduced the Z Proto well ahead of schedule – it might happen again.
