New Bentley Bentayga S Is The Athlete Of The Family

The Bentley Bentayga S is visually updated but the driving experience is what distinguishes it

  • The 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 develops 542 horsepower.

  • It offers the best combination of performance and luxury.

The Bentayga, Bentley’s ultimate go-anywhere luxury SUV, was introduced in 2015. For the first time ever, an “S” version will be offered as the sporty and athletic version of the SUV. It will follow the already well-established “S” within Bentley with its more engaging drive.

Visually, the new 2022 Bentley Bentayga S will differ from the already on sale Hybrid, V8, and Speed with its various black details as part of the Blackline Specification as standard, unique 22-inch wheels with three finishes, innovative “S” badges on the front doors, a larger rear spoiler, gloss black side sills and lower bumpers, front and rear. Dark tint lenses to headlamps and tail lamps, black door mirrors, and black split oval tailpipes complete the striking exterior.

The cabin gains its share of upgrades such as new seats, unique stitching, Alcantara, various colour accents on the instrument panel, centre console, door pads, and seat bolsters as well as Alcantara to seat cushion and back inserts, steering wheel and gear lever. Seating options will vary from four, five, or seven passengers.

The drive is where the Bentayga S will shine the most. The 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 develops 542 horsepower and a whopping 568 lb.-ft. of torque. This power will send the SUV from 0-100 km/h in only 4.5 seconds and to a top speed of 290 km/h. Maintaining control will be Bentley’s Dynamic Ride which is fitted as standard. It features the world’s first electric active roll control technology that utilizes an unrivaled 48V system. If off-roading is your thing, the Bentayga can also be equipped with the optional All-Terrain Specification that includes four dedicated off-road modes along with a 500 mm wading depth.
