A computer rendering shows the hood and related components including the scoop.
There also an actual photo of a body-in-white front fender and hood.
Looks like the new 2022 Raptor won’t be fully revealed before early next year.
Of the many new vehicles launched in 2020 at Ford, the F-150 full-size truck is without a doubt the most important. As it stands, the F-150 is once more expected to be crowned as the best-selling truck in America this year. Now, we’ve seen and driven the new truck but up until now, we’d not seen any concrete in relation to the Raptor.
And now, we have in the form of a rendering of the new Raptor’s front clip that depicts the hood’s operation and a view of its scoop. The picture of the actual Raptor is that of a body-in-white that gives us an excellent idea of the flared front fenders and hood fitment.
From what we can see from the images, the upcoming 2022 F-150 Raptor looks very much like the truck it will replace. This is consistent with the fact that the 2021 F-150’s styling is a timid (and wise) evolution of the previous generation truck.
As shared by Road Show, rumours of a late-2020 reveal had circulated however given that December is already underway, we may have to wait until Q1 or Q2 of 2021 to see the Raptor in the steel and aluminium.
