New Toyota GR 86 Widebody Kit by Rocket Bunny is Mad

This latest Widebody Kit by Rocket Bunny for the new Toyota GR 86 should have fans drooling over the details

  • The Japanese tuning company TRA Kyoto is known for its insane body kits.

  • Pricing is not yet known but it won’t be cheap.

The all-new 2022 Toyota GR 86 was officially revealed in Japan last April and fans and enthusiasts have praised the small sports car’s handling and a thumbs-up for the bump in power. While its design has evolved, the GR 86 is still timid-looking by most accounts. Rocket Bunny has the solution with this widebody kit.

This widebody kit is heavy on details and changes. The only elements not included in the kit, which will be sold under the Pandem name in North America, are the aftermarket wheels and the lowered suspension. Frankly, they make an enormous difference in how the kit fits on the GR 86.

Notably, the kit features entirely different front and rear bumpers. Up front, the grille is revised, lowered, and looks menacing. Just above sits an extra air intake and there are considerable splitters on either end of the wider bumper. In the rear, the kit includes a fixed-wing fitted above the standard one. The bumper is wider and is fitted with a serious lower diffuser. The sides are severely punctuated by massive wheel arch flares that flow into the side skirts.

There’s no timeline yet available, according to CarScoops, as to when the Rocket Bunny kit will become available nor is it priced.
