The Alfa Romeo Stelvio is one of our favorite high-performance luxury SUVs. In fact, it may be the most entertaining and rewarding to drive even in its “basic” versions. While certainly not boring to look at, Alfa Romeo has decided to introduce a “Veloce” to visually enhance the already attractive SUV.
The idea for the Veloce is to bridge the gap between the super-SUV Quadrifoglio and the Ti. The Ti, which stands for “Turismo Internazionale”, is applied to most versions of the Stelvio in Canada. Veloce, which is self-explanatory, will now be applied to the Ti (typically signifies elegance) for perhaps the greatest combination of luxury and speed.
The Stelvio Veloce Ti will feature a new rear bumper with a built-in unique diffuser, a full body-coloured body kit, and superb and optional new 21-inch five-hole alloy wheels with a dark finish. These wheels, in time, will become available on other trim levels.
The interior also gets Quadrifoglio-like upgrades thanks to aluminium gearshift paddles, sport seats wrapped in leather and Alcantara, a black headliner, and real carbon fibre accents. Dark tones are also featured in the window surrounds, tinted windows, and the exterior badging.
