Upcoming Nissan Z could be called Nissan 400Z
Production could begin in late 2021
New Nissan Z part of a full lineup of new or updated Nissan models coming in the next 18 months
We got our first look at the upcoming Nissan Z car in a video published last week by Nissan. Now, a forum member on New Nissan Z is reporting that production for the new Z will begin September 2021.
The post was first reported by The Torque Report. The member gives nothing to back his or her claim, but we do know that Nissan is planning 12 new models in the next 18 months. Bringing the Z back in September 2021 would work within that timeframe.
Nothing about the new Z generation is really known at this point. We got a good view of its outline and general styling in the Nissan video published last week, but nothing more.
Rumored to be called the Nissan 400Z, it would use the same 3.0-litre V6 from the Infiniti Q60 Red Sport 400 which develops, you guessed it, 400 horsepower. Like its predecessor, it would be a two-seater.
Expect a ton of leaks, rumors, and teasers from around the web from now until the next Nissan Z breaks cover.
