Mercedes-Maybach introduces Night Series, a unique design package with exclusive finishes and extravagant details.
The Night Series design influences Mercedes-Maybach’s EQS SUV, S-Class, and GLS models, enhancing luxury and sustainability.
The Night Series design package will debut in Canada in 2023, starting with the 2024 S-Class and EQS SUV models.
Mercedes-Maybach has introduced a novel design package known as the Night Series. This unique design evolution brings a distinctive new look to the Maybach portfolio, emphasizing extravagant exterior and interior elements along with exclusive finishes.
The Night Series embodies striking details, including dark chrome elements and surfaces designed to reflect light similar to a cut jewel. The design also includes sophisticated interiors that further elevate the established Maybach design norms.
Designed to inspire new brand desire among different audiences, the Night Series takes a non-traditional approach. The series applies this unconventional design narrative to both the interior and exterior details of three specific Mercedes-Maybach models: the S-Class, EQS SUV, and GLS.
The Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV
The brand’s first all-electric model now features the Night Series design package. Its design includes rose gold Maybach emblems on individual headlights, dark chrome elements, and dark chrome-plated air intake inserts on the front bumper. Its exclusive finishes include Obsidian Black/Mojave Silver two-tone, Obsidian Black, or MANUFAKTUR Diamond White.
The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class and GLS Models
Both the S-Class and GLS models are also available with the Night Series design package. The S-Class model offers several paint finishes and an expanded luxury interior. The GLS model displays elegant dark chrome elements, a distinct 23-inch Maybach design wheel, and exclusive interior options. All models in the Night Series combine luxury and sustainability, featuring Econyl carpeting, vegetable-tanned Exclusive Nappa Leather, and MANUFAKTUR Natural Grain Herringbone wood pattern trim with aluminum accents.
Each model also includes an exclusive Night Series start-up animation for the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) interface, a feature that adds a digital touch to the luxury experience. Furthermore, unique ambient lighting complements the Night Series colour palette, rounding out the holistic design experience.
Mercedes-Maybach’s Night Series design package is poised to make its Canadian debut in 2023, first with the 2024 S-Class and EQS SUV models. The rollout is slated to continue in the third quarter of 2024 with the introduction of the 2025 GLS model.
Broadening the Night Series’ influence, MAYBACH Icons of Luxury, a partner company, is set to debut a collection of accessories directly inspired by the Night Series aesthetic. This collection, which includes bags, sneakers, and eyewear, underlines the multi-faceted approach Mercedes-Maybach is adopting to incorporate the unique Night Series design elements across a wide array of luxury offerings.
