The McLaren 765LT is one of the most potent road cars in the world.
Output is of 831 horsepower and 662 lb.-ft. of torque.
The 765LT is fast, now it’s even faster.
The McLaren 765LT is one of the British carmaker’s most impressive offerings. Truth be told, they are all tremendous high-performance automobiles and with little to no exceptions, they are perfect as they are. Tuning company Novitec thinks that there’s room for some improvement.
Visually, Novitec might be a little wrong. As part of what they can do to the 765 Long Tail is include a vented carbon fibre hood and some headlight inserts. Both elements do nothing to improve the McLaren’s fine looks however the forged Vossen wheels and roof scoop are just what the doctor ordered. Coupled with the new springs which drop the car a further 2mm, the 765LT à la Novitec means business.
And that business is speed. Through plug-and-play, the ECU unleashes 831horsepower and 662 lb.-ft. of torque which drops the 0-60mph time to only 2.5 seconds. As impressive as that is, the 0-124mph (200km/h) time is mind-boggling: 6.5 seconds.
As reported by Top Gear, pricing for the upgrades is not yet known but it matters little to those who can afford a 765LT to begin with.
