NOVITEC Unleashes the McLaren GT’s True Potential

With extra aero, more power, and a revised chassis, NOVITEC transforms the fast McLaren GT into a comfortable surface-to-surface cruise missile.

  • German tuner NOVITEC extracts more power and handling from the McLaren GT.

  • The McLaren GT is one of the finest Grand Touring cars currently available.

NOVITEC has had many a decade of practice at tuning some of the most exotic and powerful sports cars in the world. For the lovely McLaren GT, they’ve not only increased performance and handling but have also focused on making the cabin even more luxurious.

The NOVITEC experience for the McLaren GT starts with a naked-carbon finished aerodynamic-enhancement kit which includes a two-piece front bumper, side rocker panels, and carbon scoops. At the rear, there’s a noticeable three-piece NOVITEC carbon rear spoiler. In the visual mix, the GT is fitted with staggered 8.5×20-inch front and 12×21-inch rear wheels from Vossen. The whole of the car’s ride height is lowered by about 25mm thanks to sport springs for the chassis. The wheel and ride-height combination further emphasize the GT’s wedge shape.

The included twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 can be equipped with one of three potential performance upgrade kits. The most potent kit features a NOVITEC RACE high-performance exhaust system and helps boost output to 707 horsepower at 7,450 rpm and 527 lb.-ft. of torque at 6,250 rpm. According to NOVITEC, throttle response is much faster than stock. With its newfound power, the NOVITEC McLaren GT hits 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3 seconds while its top speed rises to 333 km/h, or 207 mph.
