It will be held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
The exact dates are Friday, August 20 to Sunday, August 29, 2021.
A return to normalcy is officially underway. After nearly a year and a half, and no international auto shows for most markets, the auto show circuit will once more start up. The 2021 NYIAS will be the first major event held in North America when it opens its doors in August.
This is good news as auto shows remain a great way to come into contact with all the new vehicles under one roof. The NYIAS, which dates back to 1900, is typically held in the spring but it was canceled last year and this past spring due to the global pandemic.
“The annual New York International Auto Show is not just one of our most beloved traditions, it is a great economic engine for our state,” New York State Governor Andrew M. Cuomo said. “We are excited to welcome back auto enthusiasts and industry professionals for this year’s show with full, pre-pandemic attendance levels and a new exhibit focused on electric vehicles with five indoor tracks where attendees can go for a test ride. This is a sure sign that New York is coming back stronger and better than ever.”
The 2021 Reimagined New York International Auto Show will return to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center from Friday, August 20 to Sunday, August 29, 2021. Press day will be held on Thursday, August 19th.
