David Attenborough, Prince William and the Queen top the most trusted ‘celebrities’ to recommend a used car according to a recent survey by CarGurus.
British automotive shopping site CarGurus conducted a lighthearted survey among more than 2,000 car owners and buyers. The survey was to find out which celebrities the shoppers would trust the most when buying a used car.
Topping the chart is none other than Sir David Attenborough, the famous English broadcaster. The survey says that nearly a quarter of British car buyers would trust the 93-year-old to “get them a good used car deal”. That’s interesting since Sir Attenborough doesn’t even have a car because “he never passed his driving test”, according to a 2007 interview with The Guardian.
Following David Attenborough are the first members of the royal family in this list, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. CarGurus says that they have the trust of one in 10 car buyers.
Sitting 11 on the list is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson. The British politician is only trusted by one in 20 shoppers.
