And, unfortunately, sold exclusively in Japan.
It will feature the new 6-speed manual transmission.
The introduction of the manual transmission in the A90 Toyota GR Supra, a car that initially was probably never going to feature three pedals, is cause for celebration. And celebrate Toyota Japan will as they will build only 50 units of the GR Supra Matte White Edition.
It will, of course, be fitted with the newly developed 6-speed manual transmission which will be coupled to the turbocharged 382-horsepower 3.0-litre inline-6-cylinder engine. While this is special enough, the Matte White Edition will include a number of unique touches.
The exterior will be Matte Avalance White Metallic which will contrast deeply with a number of black accents found on the front splitter, side sills, rear diffuser, mirrors, A-pillars, and intakes. Completing the exterior is a set of 19-inch forged wheels painted Frozen Gunmetal Gray.
The cabin is draped in a beautiful combination of tan-coloured leather and black surfaces. The dashboard, according to Carscoops, holds a carbon-fibre plaque with “GR Supra” and “Matte White Edition” lettering along with a neat rendering of the car.
A lottery will take to determine who the lucky 50 potential owners of a new Toyota GR Supra Matte White Edition. Entries will be accepted between July 20th and August 21st.
