Pagani Teams Up With Porsche To Create Online Configurator

Build your Pagani your way online

  • Build the Pagani of your dreams in 4K

  • Pagani a longtime Porsche owner

Hypercar builder Pagani‘s latest partnership isn’t with its usual friends at Mercedes-AMG. This time it’s with another automaker that Horacio is fond of: Porsche. Or at least a subsidiary of the brand called MHP A Porsche Company, and together they’ve given the brand a whole new way to configure the Pagani Huayra of your dreams.

Founder Horacio Pagani obviously loves his own cars, but he loves cars of all kinds. He’s told Autoblog Argentina before that “the best sports car builder is Porsche,” and for that reason, he owns a Carrera GT, 918 Spyder, and a 911R.

His company is now partnering with Porsche, but not in the conventional way – like Pagani’s AMG partnership for engines. Instead, it’s a tie-up with MHP a Porsche Company (yes, that long string is their real name). That’s a tech and process consulting solutions company that Porsche acquired in the 1990s. They provide consulting services to a range of automotive industry firms including OEMs, suppliers, and even dealers.

The two, says Autoblog Argentina, have paired up to make a new configurator for Pagani cars. Letting you be a real or dreaming customer of the company and making a Pagani exactly the way you would like it. You can choose finishes, paint, and even the carbon fibre trim of your car, and then look at the entire thing in 3D, with the ability to change camera views, change backgrounds, even roll down the windows and open or close the roof, letting you stream your car in 4K.

It’s a pretty good way to spend an afternoon, ending up with a Huayra that’s just the way you want it. Even if you can’t afford to send them an order for it. For a company that sells just a handful of cars a year, it’s a nice touch and one that will likely bring them to the attention of the next generation of hypercar buyers.
