Polestar has commenced deliveries of its Polestar 4 electric SUV coupe to customers across Canada, with the first vehicles reaching buyers in Vancouver, Toronto, Brossard, and Québec City. Additional deliveries in Montréal and Ottawa are expected within days.
The cities receiving first deliveries collectively represent nearly 60% of the electric vehicle market in Canada. Polestar Spaces in these locations are now offering test drives, with deliveries expected to accelerate across North America in the coming weeks.
The 2026 Polestar 4 carries a starting price of $64,900 ($67,700 with fees, including a destination fee of $2,700). Production for North American-market vehicles takes place in Busan, South Korea.
The Long range Dual motor configuration delivers 544 hp and 506 lb-ft of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h time of 3.8 seconds. This makes it the fastest production Polestar to date. Its pricing starts at $72,700, with fees.
The Long range Single motor rear-wheel-drive variant produces 272 hp and 253 lb-ft of torque, with a preliminary range target of up to 482 km according to EPA estimates. Official NRCan range figures have not yet been certified. Both variants use a 100 kWh battery with DC charging capability up to 200 kW and 11 kW AC charging.
The aerodynamic design incorporates a low nose with air curtains, retractable door handles, flush glazing with frameless windows, and rear aero blades. The Polestar 4 eliminates conventional rear glass in favour of a high-definition camera mounted on the roof, which provides a real-time feed to a display inside the cabin.
All Polestar 4 models include the Pilot Pack with Pilot Assist and Lane Change Assist, along with 20-inch Aero alloy wheels, a panoramic glass roof, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree parking camera with 3D view, an energy-saving heat pump, and a digital key for Apple devices.
Polestar states the Polestar 4 has the lowest carbon footprint of any vehicle in its lineup. Standard interior materials include MicroTech, a bio-attributed vinyl using pine oil rather than crude oil, which Polestar says results in a 70% lower CO2e footprint than traditional PVC. Carpets are manufactured from 100% ECONYL polyamide derived from discarded fishing nets and plastic waste. According to Polestar, 85% of the vehicle is recyclable.
