2026 Polestar 4 electric SUV coupe starts at $64,900 in Canada
Dual motor variant accelerates from zero to 100kph in 3.8s
Korean production enables Fall 2025 Canadian customer deliveries
Polestar has officially opened order books for the 2026 Polestar 4 electric SUV coupe in Canada, with pricing starting at $64,900. The Swedish electric vehicle manufacturer announced that production for North American markets will commence this summer at its facility in Busan, South Korea, with first customer deliveries anticipated for Fall 2025.
The Polestar 4 is the company’s fastest production vehicle to date, combining aerodynamic coupe styling with SUV practicality. According to Hugues Bissonnette, Head of Polestar Canada, the model “confidently enters the premium performance class within the D-SUV segment” and provides Canadian customers with a second SUV option alongside the existing Polestar 3.
544-Horsepower Dual Motor Delivers 3.8-Second Acceleration

The range-topping Long range Dual motor variant produces 544 horsepower and 506 pound-feet of torque, enabling acceleration from zero to 100 kilometres per hour in 3.8 seconds. This all-wheel-drive configuration utilizes a 100-kilowatt-hour battery pack and offers an estimated range of 434 kilometres on a single charge.
For customers seeking efficiency over outright performance, Polestar offers a Long range Single motor variant with rear-wheel drive. This configuration generates 272 horsepower and 253 pound-feet of torque while extending the estimated range to 482 kilometres. Both variants support DC fast charging at speeds up to 200 kilowatts and include 11-kilowatt AC charging capability.
The Polestar 4 features several distinctive design elements, most notably the elimination of the traditional rear window. Instead, drivers rely on a high-definition camera mounted on the roof that provides a real-time feed to an interior display, offering a wider field of view than conventional rear windows.
Standard equipment across all variants includes the Pilot Pack with Lane Change Assist, 20-inch Aero alloy wheels, panoramic glass roof, adaptive cruise control, 360-degree parking cameras with 3D view, energy-saving heat pump, wireless phone charging, and electronically adjustable seating for both front occupants.
Canadian customers can choose from five trim configurations, ranging from the base Long range Single motor at $64,900 to the fully-equipped Long range Dual motor with Performance Pack at $82,500. The Performance Pack adds 22-inch forged wheels, Polestar Engineered chassis tuning, Brembo four-piston brake calipers in Swedish gold, and summer performance tyres.
Sustainability remains central to the Polestar 4’s design philosophy. The vehicle incorporates MicroTech bio-attributed vinyl upholstery that replaces crude oil with pine oil, resulting in a 70% lower carbon dioxide equivalent footprint compared to traditional PVC. Carpets utilize 100% ECONYL polyamide derived from discarded fishing nets and plastic waste, while 85% of the vehicle’s components remain recyclable.
