A “T” trimmed Porsche is about an authentic driving experience.
The Macan will be the first-ever 4-door Porsche and SUV to sport the designation.
Most often forget that the actual driving experience has little to do with all-out power. This is what a Porsche “T” vehicle is about and up until now, this unique and special trim was reserved only for sports cars. The Macan T will be the first of its kind as both a 4-door vehicle and SUV.
The new Macan T will deliver an engaging driving and, as we know, weight is always the enemy. This is why it will be powered a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that produces 261 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque. This decision alone equals a 58.8kg weight saving compared to the V6 Macan S.
The Macan T’s chassis will feature the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as standard. Along with the specially-tuned Porsche Traction Management (PTM), the Macan T will focus its power distribution to the rear axle for a truly dynamic drive. Optionally, the adaptive air suspension with PASM and the Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+) system will ensure the Macan T is unmatched through corners.
Visually, the Porsche Macan T will differ from the others thanks Agate Grey Metallic accents, quad sports tailpipes, side blades with the ‘Macan T’ logo in Black, and dark titanium 20-inch Macan S wheels. The cabin will include a multifunction GT heated sports steering wheel and the Sport Chrono stopwatch, and far more.
