Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo Coming to Canada in 2020

The Porsche Taycan’s only just broken cover but we want to remind you that the cool Cross Turismo is also coming.

The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo will come to Canada in 2020. Porsche Canada CEO Marc Ouayoun confirmed the news at the unveiling of the Porsche Taycan EV in Niagara Falls today.

When will the Cross Turismo electric-rugged-station-wagon-like version of the Porsche Taycan arrive? As early as late 2020. That’s right! Only a year after the first Taycan sport sedans first land in the US, this December, will we be privy to this version. As a further reminder, Canada will see its first Taycan Turbo and Turbo S in February of 2020.

2020 Porsche Taycan: The Cold Hard Specs

In the event you’d forgotten what this car is, the Cross Turismo is to the Taycan what the Sport Turismo is to the Panamera however with more of an Audi Allroad flair to it. Although nothing’s really known about the Cross Turismo, we can safely assume that it will feature the same trim nomenclatures as the Taycan. With this is mind, odds will be that wheel flares will be available in both matching and contrasting body colours.

As both cars will use the same platform and electric technologies, the Cross Turismo will be quite a fast and efficient mode of transportation. As for pricing, we figure the Cross Turismo Turbo will start closer to $180,000 while the Turbo S will surely sport a $225,000 price tag.

Although nothing is confirmed, the Cross Turismo will likely share the same all-electric powertrain and versions as the Taycan sedan.
