The Porsche Taycan in many ways looks like a concept car that rolled off the auto show floor, and there’s nothing that looks similar on the road today.
For some, however, the Taycan is a little too subdued. That’s where Prior Design comes in with its recent widebody kit for the range-topping Taycan Turbo S. The kit certainly gives the Porsche EV a very aggressive look that looks poised to tackle a race track nearby.
The kit can be built all in carbon fiber upon request and includes fender flares that add 2.4 inches to the front width of the Taycan Turbo S and 3.9 inches to the back. Side air intakes serve to cool the wheels, side skirts give the Taycan a more grounded look and there’s a rear diffuser.
And then there’s the huge wing fixed to the back of the Taycan, by far the most noticeable element of the Prior Design kit. The design is completed with massive 22-inch wheels.
Prior Design has built kits for numerous Porsche models. They also recently built a widebody kit for the Toyota Supra.
The Prior Design Porsche Taycan Turbo S likely stays stock under the body. With 750 horsepower and 774 pound-feet of torque along with a 0-60 mph (97 km/h) time of just 2.6 seconds, there’s not much more you can do to up the power.
