Porsche has finally introduced the fully electric versions of its Cayenne SUV with two new models: the Cayenne Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric. Both vehicles are now available to order in Canada, with deliveries scheduled to begin in summer 2026. Pricing starts at $131,300 for the Cayenne Electric and $178,300 for the Turbo variant.

The new Cayenne Turbo Electric produces up to 1,139 hp and up to 1,106 lb-ft of torque when Launch Control is activated, making it the most powerful production Porsche to date. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 260 km/h. The entry-level Cayenne Electric delivers up to 435 hp and 616 lb-ft of torque, completing the 0–100 km/h sprint in 4.8 seconds.
Both models use dual electric motors with Porsche Traction Management (ePTM) for all-wheel drive. Regenerative braking recovers up to 600 kW of energy, with most deceleration handled by the motors. Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) are available on the Turbo variant.

The vehicles feature a newly developed 113 kWh battery, providing up to 550 km of range (642 WLTP) for the Cayenne and 533 km (623 km WLTP) for the Turbo. The 800-volt electrical architecture enables fast DC charging at up to 400 kW under certain conditions. A 10–80% charge can be completed in under 16 minutes. Wireless charging up to 11 kW is also offered as an option.
Chassis technologies include adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as standard. The Cayenne Turbo adds Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus and is available with Porsche Active Ride for enhanced comfort and dynamics. Rear-axle steering is optional on both models.

The electric Cayenne features a drag coefficient of 0.25 and multiple active aerodynamic elements, including an adaptive roof spoiler and moveable rear aeroblades. These systems adjust based on speed and driving mode to optimize range and downforce.
Measuring 4,985 mm in length with a wheelbase of 3,023 mm, the electric Cayenne is 55 mm longer than the combustion model and offers increased rear legroom. Cargo capacity is rated from 781 to 1,588 litres, in addition to a 90-litre front trunk. Maximum towing capacity is 7,716 lbs, depending on equipment.

Inside, the vehicle features an OLED-based Porsche Driver Experience layout, including a curved Flow Display, a 14.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and an optional 14.9-inch passenger display. A head-up display with AR technology projects an 87-inch visual field. The Cayenne Electric also includes AI-assisted voice control, expanded third-party app support, and the new Porsche Digital Key system.
Customers can select from 13 exterior colours, nine wheel designs, and multiple interior themes. Options include the Panoramic Roof with Variable Light Control and a new panel heating system for touch surfaces. Porsche Design now offers timepieces tailored to the Cayenne’s specifications.
The all-electric Cayenne joins Porsche’s existing internal combustion and hybrid powertrain offerings, which will continue to be sold globally. Porsche reports that 36% of its global sports car sales in 2025 are electrified.
